Weekend Snow Update: Twin Cities snowfall of the season now in top 10 snowiest

Yes, this has been a very snowy winter.

The official snowfall totals for the 2022-2023 season in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport had 78 inches through Friday. Our snow on Saturday easily puts this snow season in the top ten snowiest on Twin Cities weather records:

A low pressure system will continue to bring snow to much of Minnesota and Wisconsin Saturday night and Saturday night.

Snow will continue through Sunday in northern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin, with intermittent snow possible Sunday in central and southern Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin.

Highs in the Twin Cities metro area are projected to be around 30 degrees on Monday, followed by the lower 30s on Tuesday and then the lower 40s on Wednesday and Thursday. Highs in the metro area will drop into the lower 30s on Friday.
